What a wonderful, sweet and compassionate woman Miss Louise was! My mother; Renee Eden Romagosa and father Kyle Romagosa all knew Miss Louise since childhood. May all family members feel our Lord's peace and love at this time! I was born and raised in Lafayette and live in N.Carolina now.

Dear family and friends: I did not know Miss Jeanmard, but her name and her life makes her extra special. I spent many hours studying at Jeanmard Hall while a student at USL from l969-l973. It was such a pleasant, peaceful place! Miss Jeanmard, indeed, added much pleasure and peace to so many lives. May the memories of this lovely lady add a special gift to this year's Thanksgiving celebration! Aunt Mary Louise Jeanmard surely earned her place on that special cloud UP ABOVE! --signed Barbara Spencer

I was saddened to learn of Aunt Louise’s death. Although I did not know her personally, from what I’ve read (and stories from you), she seemed to be a lovely person who will be greatly missed. I wish for happy memories of her soon to replace your sadness.

With sincere sympathy to the entire Jeanmard family, Kathy Bowman

Marie Louise Jeanmard commanded the respect of all who knew her. She was born into a family, whose members were achieved in their various professions, and much admired for their service to the community. But for those of us who were her neighbors on Dunreath Street she commanded more than respect; she commanded our love. We knew her as a lady who never spoke unkindly of others or acted unkindly toward others. Her life was lived out with goodness and with charity toward others. She was born with those virtues. They were native in her very being. And these qualities, along with her heritage and her love of her religion, so empowered her native goodness and charity, that many of us are emboldened to call her a saintly lady. We on Dunreath Street will miss her, but we will not forget her.

I was saddened to hear about the death of Aunt Louise. She is my second cousin, my father Adrian Jeanmard was her first cousin. I remember when we used to go see Aunt Lucille and Marie Louise in Lafayette. My condolences to the family.
