LAFAYETTE - A Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette for Robert "Pop" Justin, 70, who passed away peacefully at Kindred Hospital in Lafayette on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

Rev. M. Keith Landry will officiate.

Robert was born Robert Juchniewicz on Thursday, May 15, 1941 in Stalino USSR and was a longtime resident of Lafayette. He migrated to the United States at the age of 15 with his family and soon met his wife of 49 years, Marion. He moved to Louisiana in the late 1970's and entered the oilfield environment industry. Robert owned and operated his own environmental company for many years in the New Orleans area before becoming involved in oilfield wireline and moved to Lafayette in 1981. For more than 15 years, Mr. Justin and his wife owned and operated an oilfield trucking business. He enjoyed his work and spending time with family.

Mr. Justin is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Marion Harvey Justin of Lafayette; two daughters, Robyn Lynn Justin and her significant other, Paul Giambrone, Jr. of Covington and Susan Beth Judice and her husband, Kip of Lafayette; one son, Paul Robert Justin and his wife, Dawn of Youngsville; one brother, Gene Justin and his wife, Joanie of Passaic, NJ; a sister-in-law, Marie Juchniewicz of Garfield, NJ; and 5 grandchildren, Emily, Brandi, BreAnne, Paul and Miles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Juchniewicz and the former Ludmila Potolowska; and his oldest brother, Alexander Juchniewicz.

Visitation will be observed at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
